Cheers mate, and thanks for involving me as a game judge! While it was tough to fit it in the schedule, it was totally worth it in the end to see and play all these great hidden gems! Like you say, the number one thought in my head throughout the whole process was "how did these not get recognized or awarded in the first place?"

I did a little write-up about the games in my news feed if anyone's interested as there are some wild entries to play in there: https://futurecoplgf.newgrounds.com/news/post/1453691

Was a lot of fun to be a part of the NGTH.
Cheers to all fellow judges !

Man time management is the most difficult thing for sure. XD I'm glad I didn't have any issues with this years judging, started out in good time, I tend to wait till the last minute with most things, but it's no good habit... been trying to adopt the practice of 'staying ahead of the powercurve'. Of always being ahead of deadlines rather than not. Get things done in good time and move onto the next thing. It's motivating when you manage! Feels good to know you have time over for unexpected happenings along the way, there's always something, the goal's to always have time over for the unexpected, so you're just never at a loss of time whatever happens; can catch up if things get difficult.

In regard to the Google Forms issues, does the problem have anything to do with multiple people accessing and editing the same ones? Could it be a solution to isolate different sheets for different users, so each one just gets the submissions they're working through? If that has anything to do with it maybe a quick fix, or way to at least isolate issues, if something one user does affects all.

Thanks for inviting me to judge again man, always an honor. :) Very cool to actually get quoted in an official NG news post this time too, catching up on that too now...

Cheers y'all fellow judges, if anyone's still here reading this! XD

Had not heard of Pixar's decision, definitely sounds not in line with the soul of Pixar at all, they've become as iconic as they've become because of how personal their stories really are, in a lot of cases, beyond always being on the cutting-edge of animation techniques and what-not, in time somehow they've become my favorite studio... but no doubt if they lose their spark there are plenty of other studios out there who'd be able to pick up the torch. Funding's an issue of course, maybe the future of passion projects is more akin to Kickstarter than the biggest studios, some really great things do get made there too, or Disney have just had their time, and the change of direction will allow others a spotlight in time...

Hope it goes well for Pixar too though regardless, I'd hope they still keep making amazing things; this press doesn't mean as much as it may seem to...

Always enlightening. :) Good talk SD!
